Dr. Nicholas Warner
Dr. Warner is a professor of literature at Claremont McKenna College, where he has received six teaching awards between 1983 and 2005.

Warner teaches courses in 18th- and 19th -century British, American and Russian literature. He has published numerous articles, and received a Choice Outstanding Academic Book Award in 1999 for “Spirits of America: Intoxication in Nineteenth-Century American Literature." Forthcoming in The Leadership Quarterly is an article entitled “Screening Leadership through Shakespeare: Leader-Follower Relations in Henry V on Film."

Warner’s research interests include British and American Romanticism, Russian literature and leadership in literature and film. He referees for various scholarly journals and holds membership in a number of scholarly associations.

Warner received a master’s degree and doctorate in English from the University of California at Berkeley, and a bachelor of arts with honors in English from Stanford University.
