  Dr. Alex Rajczi

Dr. Rajczi is an assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy at Claremont McKenna College.

He is interested in applying ethics to the examination of areas such as bioethics, education and moral decision making. Rajczi has written about and given presentations on these and other topics. Recently Rajczi wrote an article “Making Risk-Benefit Assessments of Medical Research Protocols” for The Journal of Law, Medicine, & Ethics. 

Rajczi’s teaches ethical theory, political philosophy, aesthetics and applied ethics. His research focuses on consequentialism and integrity, moral progress, human rights and international justice and medical ethics, including medical enhancements to human beings and the distribution of health care resources. 

Rajczi holds bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in philosophy from the University of California, Los Angeles.
